1. GENERAL
Total Surveillance Integrated Systems Ltd is based, with Registered Office in Framfield, East Sussex. The sole business of Total Surveillance Integrated Systems Ltd is the provision of CCTV Systems, Intruder Alarm Systems, Access Control Systems, Automated Gates and Barriers, Security Bollards and Grills, Remote Monitoring Systems for Intruder and CCTV, Maintenance and Monitoring Services for both new and existing systems, specialising in the integration of bespoke electronic security systems.
2. CUSTOMERS/CONTRACTS
The company, although still relatively small, has won many highly prestigious contracts against much larger companies due to its approach to business and listening to the customer's needs.
Many of these prestigious customers are returning to Total Surveillance Integrated Systems Ltd for new installations at other locations within their organizations proving that they are satisfied customers.
Such customer's include many blue chip and international companies.
We also provide our services to local authority establishments such as Fire Brigade's and Local Health Authorities, plus numerous commercial, retail, industrial and private installations. Points of contact for some of our customers could be provided if required for reference purposes.
3. QUALITY CONTROL & REGULATORY COMPLIANCES
All equipment and services are provided in full compliance with the required Codes of Practice recognised by the Association of Chief of Police Officers.
All installation work is fully compliant with the relevant British Standard.
All equipment provided is from approved manufacturers with the necessary quality control systems, repair facilities and spares backup.
4. THE PROPOSAL & QUOTATION
It is the proven policy of Total Surveillance Integrated Systems Ltd to work with customers to develop technical and cost proposals which meet all of their needs, to support them when they become customers, and then continue to support them and meet their future needs and retain their valued custom.
Our proposal and quotation, when finally submitted for all but minor installations, includes full specifications for all items of equipment included in the proposal, commissioning schedule including customer staff training. Installation drawings can be supplied at this point if required.
Almost unique in the surveillance/alarm industry. Total Surveillance Integrated Systems Ltd will demonstrate the main equipment proposed prior to contract award if required.
5. LOGISTIC SUPPORT
An installation that is not reliable and well maintained is worthless. Further, the cost of an installation should not be based just upon the initial cost but the full life cycle cost (the true cost of ownership). Logistic Support and the associated cost are therefore considered to be very important by Total Surveillance Integrated Systems Ltd and should be carefully considered by the customer prior to contract award.
Logistic Support for Total Surveillance installations includes the following:
a) Technical documentation
b) Training of customer staff
c) Maintenance/Repair proposal and the provision of spare parts.
Technical documentation is generally by way of a yearly maintenance contract because this is the most cost-effective method and is mandatory with most insurers that the system is maintained by an approved contractor. The maintenance contract generally includes within the fixed price, scheduled maintenance visits, provision of parts and materials, labour, and unscheduled repair visits (call-outs) in the event of a system failure due to the unlikely event that any part of our equipment should develop a fault.
6. INSTALLATION
The quality of the installation work and materials, as well as the quality of the basic equipment, is a major factor in the trouble-free ownership and operation of the installation. For that reason all installation work is supervised by either 'the Installation Director or the Managing Director, one of whom will always be in attendance and be responsible for the final system commissioning prior to customer handover.
